How to check the V5C?

Following things should be observed /searched for will examining the V5C:

• Is there a DVL watermark in the V5C when it is observed under the light? It should be there.
• Has the serial number been altered or changed with another, or is part of the V5C missing? If that's the case, don’t purchase.
• If the V5C the seller has, is of the blue version, does the serial number range from BG 8229501 to BG9999030 or BI2305501 to BI2800000? 

If yes, LEAVE the deal, don't purchase and reach out to the police when it’s safe for you to. However, even if the serial number is not in the range mentioned above, it's still important for you to be alert and careful to avoid getting into the trap of fake documents.
